On a contractual basis, the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) is accepting applications for the position of Young Professional (Legal). To be considered, interested candidates must meet the eligibility requirements listed below:
- Educational Qualification
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law and must be enrolled as advocates with the Bar Council of India. This ensures the applicant’s professional legal qualification and registration are in order. - Work Experience
Applicants are required to have a minimum of two years of relevant experience after completing their law degree. This experience should ideally include handling legal and financial documentation such as mortgages, guarantees, hypothecation, and recovery claims. Experience with litigation in courts or tribunals, especially in banks or financial institutions, is highly desirable. Familiarity with computer applications and legal software is also expected. - Age Limit and Relaxation
Applicants must adhere to the prescribed age limit as per the official notification. Relaxation in upper age limits may be granted for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Ex-servicemen, and regular employees of NCDC, in accordance with Government of India rules. - Other Conditions
- Candidates must be willing to work anywhere in India, including Head Office and regional offices.
- While there is no specific reservation for OBC, SC, or ST candidates, they are welcome to apply. However, relaxations, except application fee waivers for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-servicemen, may not be applicable to them.
- The final selection may include written tests and/or interviews based on shortlisted candidates.
