APPLICATION ON BEHALF OF THE ACCUSED FOR EXEMPTION FROM PERSONAL APPEARANCE FOR TODAY

MOST RESPECTFULLY SHOWETH:

  1. That the above-captioned matter is pending before this Hon’ble Court and is fixed for hearing today.
  2. That the Applicant/Accused is unable to appear before this Hon’ble Court today due to [Reason: e.g., sudden illness / unavoidable professional commitment / personal emergency].
  3. That the absence of the Applicant/Accused is neither intentional nor deliberate, but due to the circumstances mentioned above.
  4. That the Counsel for the Accused is present and shall represent the Accused for the proceedings scheduled for today. It is further submitted that the Accused shall not dispute his identity during the proceedings held in his absence.
  5. That no prejudice shall be caused to the prosecution/complainant if the present application is allowed.
